As Autumn arrives in Cromer now is the perfect time to come and enjoy a relaxing break and take advantage or our special Autumn Theatre Offer! The Theatre at the end of the Cromer Pier is hosting a variety of one night travelling shows throughout the early Autumn months, followed by the Christmas Seaside Special variety show from 24th November till 30th December. Nature can be seen at its finest in the countryside parks and along the miles of unspoilt coastline found on the Norfolk Coast Path, making Cromer the perfect destination for wrapping up and enjoying a relaxing walk.
Enjoy a day walking and birdwatching at the Norfolk Wildlife preserve at Cley or RSPB Titchwell, enjoy watching the migrating birds including the pink footed geese often seen at dusk.
Take a walk on the sandy beach at Holkham, the BBC Countryfile Beach of the Year 2018, how many different seashells and seabirds can you spot?
Try a boat trip to see the Seal colony at Blakeney Point or go for a stroll along Horsey Beach and see the seals without the confines of tide times.
For amore relaxed day of sightseeing you could enjoy a heritage steam train ride on the Poppy Line between Sheringham and Holt and admire the beautiful countryside, you may spot rabbits, hares or deer if you look closely enough or try a day cruise on the Norfolk Broads and enjoy the chance to see Otters, Herons and many other natural delights in the UK’s only National Water Park.
If nature isn’t your thing you could of course enjoy a day shopping and sightseeing in the medieval city of Norwich and its surrounding picturesque villages such as Holt, Aylesham, Walsingham, Wells next the Sea and Burnham Market.
However you choose to spend your day if you are at the hotel between 4 and 5pm daily you can relax with a complimentary glass of sherry and a slice of fruit cake at the Virginia Court Hotel after a days sightseeing before deciding what to enjoy for dinner!
