Cromer lights up & Christmas market, 2nd – 4th December
For the first year ever Cromer is hosting its own Christmas market to coincide with the annual ceremony to ‘Light Up’ the shopping streets of Cromer. The market starts on Friday afternoon and runs until Saturday evening. It will have food, drink and all things festive from local Norfolk businesses and is ideal for buying those unusual Christmas gifts with that special Norfolk touch! Matinee tickets are also available for the Cromer Pier Christmas Seaside Special show, which opens 3rd December.

Enjoyed a relaxing two days here and ate in the hotel on the second evening. Very pleasant room and bathroom with excellent shower. Everything here is excellent – owners and staff are friendly and very helpful. Food again excellent – we enjoyed some beautiful breakfasts and dinners – menu choices and qaulity of produce used could not be faulted. Bedrooms are as shown on photographs – modern and spotless. The YouTube video one of the owners made was spot on…great rooms, extremely clean, bathrooms were spotless, towels fluffy and white and nice guest amenities (Gilchrist & Somes) The restaurant for the evening meal was superb…local Cromer Crab on the menu done Thermadore or Au naturel and the breakfast of locally produced Kippers were absolutely superb. All together, The Virginia Court Hotel does what it says on the box, we were not disappointed with any aspect of our overnight stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Just spent a few days here and have nothing but praise. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food excellent. It is just minutes from the town and beach and buses available to Norwich and other lovely Norfolk towns such as Sheringham, Hunstanton and Wells.
