So good they are on my TV programme – Emily, Discover Britain

by Virginia Court.

This is a little gem and let me in a nutshell tell you why:-

A) Fantastic friendly staff – they truly go out of the way to make your stay brilliant

B) Excellent in cleanliness – I am not ashamed to say I have OCD in cleaning, this
came up to my mark. The room I stopped in, was perfect. The grout in the bathroom
tiles nice bright white

c) Tasteful Rooms – they have been busy refurbishing and decorating throughout the
hotel. Very appealing colour schemes and good use of fairtrade products for tea and
coffee etc. Lovely crisp white linen on beds – no nasty old bed throws!

d) Food – As a TV cook im fussy! The best fruit salad at breakfast I have ever had and
that is before I started on kippers and the cooked breakfast. They use local
produce, have close links to the local fisherman etc its fresh fresh fresh!

e) Fab location – plenty of parking. It is set down an avenue of high class houses. In
fact we learnt that the hotel used to be a clubhouse for the likes of The Prince of
Wales in times gone by. The centre of Cromer is literally just around the corner so
you can leave your car and walk!

I cannot recommend this hotel to you enough. The owners have many great plans for the hotel including further refurbishment. Im glad they do it slowly but carefully as it shows that thought has been put into it. The current owners have been there for a year
and I have no doubt they will be there for many years to come.

I occasionally go back to hotels where I film for my travel programme. I am already booked for the Cromer Crab Festival in April. I am going to give them the clip of the programme to put on their website in the next month. They will hopefully clip it on so go see for yourselves :) X
